

SAKALASKAS, JEFFRY PAUL, age 63 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away Saturday, Aug 7th, 2021. He was born December 7th, 1957 to the late Ernest and Ernestine (Humphress) Sakalaskas. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmom Betty Lake Sakalaskas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Liz Weddle Sakalaskas Children- Jennifer and Steve Taylor, Riverside, OH, Josh Sakalaskas, Xenia, OH. Grandchildren- Garrett, Kayle, and Emma Taylor, and Caroline Sakalaskas.
Jeff was the 5th of 7 siblings- Ron (Marsha) Sakalaskas, Tok, AK, Elaine (Mike) Himes, Hilton Head, SC, Phyllis (John) Sharp, Beavercreek. OH, Tom Sakalaskas (deceased, March, 2021), Mark (Ethel) Sakalaskas, Tok, AK, Scot (Janie) Sakalaskas, Atoka, TN.
Jeff is survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins, and in-laws, Granny Joann Weddle and Pete Tipton, and Hollen, Cramer, Huffman families.
Friends are Family we choose: Jeff’s life consist of so many wonderful friends, just to mention a few lifetime families and extended families: Allens, Bakers, Browders. And Scuba Buddies- Gilleys.
Jeff graduated from Beavercreek High School, 1977 with his wife.
Jeff was employed by Jade Tool Co., Inc. since 1971. Jeff became a co-owner in 1990 with his best man and partner Dan Baker, after working with their fathers.
Jeff was a devoted husband, father, and papaw. He loved spending time with his family. Jeff loved his 4 grandkids so much and loved all their sports. Few other things he loved: Thursday night crown nights with his dad, trains, war history, iPad, casinos, vacations, scuba, and the beach.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, 08/12/2021 from 4:30 – 7:00 PM in the Main Chapel at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. A Funeral Service at the end of the Visitation will take place at 7:00 PM. Family requests use of face masks.
