Gammell, Jennifer Jo nee Cantrill, age 57 of Palmetto, Florida, formerly of Kettering and Springboro, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida after a brief illness. Jennifer was born on Sunday, October 13, 1968 in Kettering, Ohio to Joseph and Stephanie Stroop Cantrill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cantrill; and uncles Chris and Davis Stroop. She is survived by her sons, Joshua and Jacob Gammell; her mother and step father, Stephanie and Ron Fischer; a brother, Jeremiah Fischer; a sister Julie Fischer; and uncle Peter Stroop.
Jennifer was a graduate of Fairmont High School in 1987 and worked as an Esthetician for Salon on Rahn.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026 at Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
