Mr. Jerome Jeffrey Hamilton, a beloved resident of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on July 3, 1962, Mr. Hamilton was known for his dedication and service as a USMC veteran. Following his military career, he spent many years as a truck driver, a profession he pursued with commitment and diligence.
Mr. Hamilton was preceded in death by his father, Benny C Hamilton Sr., his nephew, Benny Hamilton Jr., and his grandparents, Nual and Ina Hamilton, as well as James and Bertie Barker. He leaves behind his mother, Betty Hamilton, his son, Jacob Hollingsworth, and his siblings, John (Pat) Hamilton, Nuel Humphrey, and Norma (Greg) Hoskins. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel on Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 10-11 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial following in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis, OH.
