Jerry Sisco, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 6, 1950, to Chester and Doris Sisco, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Sisco.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Sisco of 33 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Robert Kohnfelder; a granddaughter, Ivy; a brother, Dennis (Debbie) Sisco; a sister-in-law, Patty Sisco; and two brothers-in-law, Joe and Dana Ray.
Jerry was a natural caregiver, always making sure Cynthia was looked after in every stage of life. He was known for his kind heart and generosity, always thinking of others before himself. He was a devoted husband, proud father, and a new grandpa.
Jerry retired from General Motors at the young age of 48 to stay at home with Sara. Being her dad was his greatest joy. He and Cynthia were married in the Smoky Mountains, where they took Sara on countless trips throughout the years.
He always appreciated the simpler things in life. His favorite hobbies were driving his truck, swinging on the front porch, and mowing his grass.
Jerry will be deeply missed, but his love and kindness will never be forgotten.
A visitation to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 1:00pm.
