Joan was a mentor to me at Trotwood Junior High and a caring friend.  She was always there to give guidance, a little criticism when needed, and by all means encouragement.  She was a very professional person in her dealings with fellow teachers and her students.  And we all benefited.  May her soul rest in peace.

Aunt Joan I'm so glad you are in heaven with our Lord Jesus.
The children you taught for so many years will carry the lessons they learned for generations to come.
Thank you for the love you showed me & the blessings I will carry from you for many years.
