ALLEN, Jo Ann F, age 83, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. Preceded in death by husband Robert E. Allen, parents Joseph and Alma Menke, step-son Don Allen, and a cousin, Eileen (Betty) Kern. Survived by daughter, Linda (Keemer) Smith and son-in-law, Larry Smith; granddaughter, Erin (Smith) Hitesman and husband, Tom; grandson, Michael Smith; step-son, Ron Allen and wife, Tonya; cousins, Karen Brunett, Dennis Moore, and Ann Price, and dear friend, Jenny Summa. She is a retiree of Globe Motors, after 32 years of service. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Funeral service 10 am Friday, July 18, 2014 at the funeral home. Pastor, Donald Payne officiating. Interment, Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
