I'll always remember Mr. Albrecht's kindness, humor and love of sports and pinochle. He always set a great example (except for the tattered navy cap).

John was a loyal friend and business partner when we worked together covering the Dayton area for Ciba from 1969 to 1981. We ate often at the Pancake House to discuss many subjects.
I will remember John as a person who truly cared about people.

My father-in-law (Dad) John meant so very much to me. He was such a special man in my life. I met his wonderful son Joe in 1989 and I knew he was the most loving and kind man I had ever met. We were married in 1992 and it was at that time, during our wedding reception that my gracious father-in-law asked me to dance with him for the Father and Daughter dance. We danced to "Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers, one of my all time favorites. As I had lost my own father in 1987 my new "Dad" knew how much I loved and missed him, as I spoke of him quite often. Dad stepped right up to the plate and for the next 19 years he was not only a wonderful father to me in every sense of the word, but he was my friend. I always enjoyed his visits to Chicago and taking him to our favorite Italian Restaurants. I could tell by the constant smile on his face how much he enjoyed those times. We would get together with my family and enjoy the evening to the fullest! Dad, I will always love you and hold you close in my heart. I miss our great conversations we shared over the years and by knowing you and seeing how beautifully you lived your life everyday, I came to realize how my husband came to be the wonderful man he is and I Thank You for that! I am truly grateful for knowing you and am a better person for it! God Bless You Dad!
Your Daugher-in-Law,
Chrissie
