John M. Cvitkovich

CVITKOVICH, John M., age 81 of New Weston, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father Martin Joseph Cvitkovich, mother Emma (Martinek) Cvitkovich, and sons Gregory Scott Cvitkovich and John Martin Cvitkovich Jr. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Cvitkovich, daughter Laura (Mark) Fannin, grandchildren Tara Fannin, Emily Fannin, Erin Fannin, Joshua (Alisha) Cvitkovich and Holly (Brian) Kammer, great-grandchildren Riley Kammer, Ryder Kammer, Caleb Cvitkovich and Colten Cvitkovich, siblings Margaret Westlund, Helen Wicker, Mary Frances Wicker, Catherine (Dwayne) Daily, Carl (Thina) Cvitkovich, James (Mai) Cvitkovich, Martin (Kathy) Cvitkovich and Paul (Tracey) Cvitkovich, and numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. John had served in The United States Air Forces. He became an electrician and was a member and past Vice President of IBEW Local 82 for over 50 years. John was a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Road. Fr. Terry Schneider celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.

Condolences to John's family on behalf of the Dayton Liederkranz where he was a long-time member. As membership Chairman, I corresponded with John every year. He was the only member over the last 10 or 15 years who always included a SASE along with his dues --and expected me to use it.
