John Wilson Fielman, age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan C. Fielman in 2003. He is survived by two children: John C. Fielman and his wife Nikki of Lebanon and Christine Connors Elmore and her husband Jay of NY. Four grandchildren also survive him: Riley and John Allen Fielman and Jacob and Connor Elmore. Mr. Fielman was a US Navy veteran, serving from 1958-1962. He was retired from the University of Dayton Research Institute following a 35-year career as a research mathematician. Funeral services will be held at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. on Wednesday, January 30 at 1 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of the funeral on Wednesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in John and Joan’s memory.
