I have the privilege of being the very first child that Dr. Murphy ever delivered. This has resonated with me my entire life by my parents( and even Dr. Murphy). What an exceptional video tribute to an exceptional man that truly was a common word (Murphy) in the Shroder household. My parents both adored him as well as my grandmother and grandfather. I remember once that my brothers and I went on a boat excursion to Cumberland Lake. We were doing jokes about my parents and the words Murphy "said" was used over and over. I also remember him telling my Mom that I had a bald spot on the top of my head from the tight poneytail she used to make me wear! Blessings to your family and continued prayers for your solace.

Brad and Family....I started going to Kettering Family Practice in 1971 and when I got married, my wife Jeri started to KFP. We both had the pleasure of having John as our Doctor for many years. He was one of the most compassionate people I've ever met.
My wife developed an illness that no one was able to diagnose, except John. He spent a tremendous amount of time working with her and running test after test, and finally determined she had Epstein-barr. It was a long road, but in the end he prevailed and cured her. This was a true testimony to his compassion for his patients.
From our family to yours, we send our sympathy and heart felt condolences in this sorrowful time.

Was a patient, became a friend. Showed me how to take care of my back at home! Laughed, now I lost a patient. Years later met walking along Little Sugarcreek, enjoyed our talks.

Doc Murphy III: I did not know your father. But he helped raise you. You are one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. This tells me volumes about your dad. Praying for God’s comfort and peace for you and your entire family.
