John was my training officer out of the acaemy too. Taught me a lot and put me in the frame of mind to succeed in the police world. I too loved and respected Johnny and could only hope people say half as many nice things about me when I'm gone. What a cool man. I hate knowing your not down here with us but love knowing where you are.

We were so shocked and saddened to hear of John's passing. I had the honor of working with John for many years. We both began our career in the same Academy class. He was an excellent police officer and one the most decent men I have ever known. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss, Joyce. I'm one of the "old timers" of the Mothers of Twins Club--remember all the good times we had? Frank really enjoyed talking with John and always looked forward to seeing him at the "Dads" functions. John was a wonderful man! Our prayers are with you.

I hope John realized how many lives he touched and all the good he accomplished on this earth. He was a good policeman, and just as importantly a good man, and everyone who met him is better for having known him.
