He graduated from Stivers High School in 1966.

During football season, Saturdays were reserved for cheering on THE Ohio State Buckeyes. He was also a devoted Cincinnati Reds fan, and conversations with Tom often centered on Ohio State football, the Reds, and the latest game.
Tom began his career at Vulcan Tool Company before becoming a skilled glazier with JMD Architecture, where he dedicated more than 30 years before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and quiet dependability.
