Joseph Fernand Auclair

AUCLAIR, Joseph Fernand, TSgt, USAF (Retired), age 86 of Beavercreek, OH formerly of Palm Bay, FL, went to be with the Lord and his beloved wife Claire on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Marie-Claire Yvonne ValleeAuclair, parents Francois and Marie Auclair, and brothers and sisters Romeo, Blanche, Rose, Arthur and Morris. He is survived by his sons and daughters in-law, Paul and Abby Auclair, Mark and Charlotte Auclair, daughter and son in-law, Helene and Dan Payton, grandchildren Christy Jackson, Dr. Wendy Clark, Mark Auclair, Aimee Hill and Jennifer Roessler, great-grandchildren Andrew Auclair, Flynn Jackson, Leona Jackson and Jack Clark, and sisters Doris Tanguay and Gabrielle LaChappelle. Joseph served in the United States Army Corp of Engineers during the Korean War and went on to serve in and retire from the United States Air Force. While living in Palm Bay, FL he was an active member of Calvary Chapel. While living in the Fairwood Village and Trinity retirement centers, he was affectionately known as "the Candyman" who brightened the lives of those around him with his infectious smile and chocolate treats.
