Davis, Josephine C. "Josie" (Ciambro), age 91, of Beavercreek, OH, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mary Ciambro, her husband of 64 years, James R. Davis, a daughter, Joanie Wilson, 3 brothers, Tony, Dominic , Louis Ciambro and a sister, Santina (Ciambro) Tarlano. She is survived by a daughter, Sandy (Tom) D'Amico and a son, James (Bonnie) Davis. Josie was loved by her 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Josie really enjoyed volunteer work. Her favorite volunteering was at the Corner Cupboard thrift shop, where she helped for 40 years. She also was a long time member and secretary of the Christopher Columbus Italian Club. Also, she and her husband were members of the Milton Athletic Club and she was a volunteer with the ladies auxiliary. She will be greatly missed by all of the family, especially on the Christmas Holiday. Her heritage was for the entire family to get together for many presents and lots of homemade Italian food and many Italian desserts. We would especially like to thank Kindred at Home Hospice for their helping hand to get us through these sad times. The family will receive friends during the visitation from 12-1 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 , at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1625 Calvary Drive, followed by a graveside service and interment.
