Joyce Ann Patterson née Kier, age 82 of Dayton, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Dayton on November 23, 2021. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Patterson, Sr., whom she married on August 24, 1957; son, John Patterson Jr.; parents, Russell M. & Mary E. Kier; and brother, Larry Kier. She is survived by her son, Michael Patterson; daughter & son in law, Caron (Bryan) Osberg; sister, Karen Rishforth; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Elizabeth, Mitchell, Chassity, Dyvid, and Patricia; 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Gathering of Family & Friends will take place from 4-6pm on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Tobias Funeral Home- Belmont. Donations in Joyce’s memory can be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
