

O’RYAN Judith Anne (Euth) passed away peacefully on October 23, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. Judy courageously battled this disease with the support of her family, friends, church, and her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on July 24, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Robert and Frances Euth, Judy is survived by; her beloved husband of 46 years, Harvey Eugene O’Ryan; children, Justin Eugene O’Ryan and Erin Kelly Richardson (Jonathan), granddaughter Olivia; sister Mary Jo Umina (Thomas); and brother, Robert Euth II (Sheila). With a Master’s Degree from Wright State University, Judy’s 39-year career with Dayton Public Schools saw her fill a number of roles, including almost two decades as Principal of Franklin Montessori. Judy impacted the lives of hundreds of students and teachers. She was instructive but patient, fair but adherent, firm but understanding. She never compromised her core beliefs and garnered respect by being genuine of heart.
The family will receive friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd, Monday, October 27, from 4 to 8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at HOPE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5980 Wilmington Pike, 11 am, Tuesday, October 28, 2014. Burial will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Judy’s memory may be made to the Women’s Cancer Center Fund, c/o Kettering Medical Center Foundation, and/or Hospice of Dayton.
