Julie B. Geraghty of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, at the age of 84. She was born on July 25, 1942, to Paul and Virginia Adams in Portsmouth, Ohio. After graduating from Otterbein College, she was a teacher for over 20 years. She then enjoyed a second career as a Real Estate agent.
She married Col. Kevin Geraghty in 1997, and together they shared almost 30 years. Julie enjoyed home decorating and collecting antiques but most of all she loved time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Julie will be remembered for her kindness, her smile and her unconditional love for her family and dear friends. She is survived by Col. Kevin Geraghty; Children, Michelle (Kevin) McGovern; Marshall (Leslie) Bartley; Sean Geraghty; Shannon Geraghty; Grandchildren, Robyn McGovern; Morgan (Alex) Dehmani; Elizabeth (Zach) Shenal; Matthew (Maddie) McGoveren; Adam Krumrien; Eric Krumrein; Jordan Geraghty; Great-grandchildren, James McGovern; George McGovern; Nora Dehmani; Matthew McGovern Jr.; and Nolan Dehmani.
Visitation will be held at Tobia Funeral Home on September 22, 2026, from 5-7 pm with a graveside service September 23, 2026, at 10:30 am, at David’s Cemetery.
