June Crum

June Crum, aged 82, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. She was born and raised in the charming town of Hyden, Kentucky, to her late parents, Henry, and Edna Baker. On December 29, 1962, she entered a lifelong union with her beloved Claude Crum. Together, they raised two children, Mitchell, and Sonya.

June's unwavering faith found a home at Bethel Christian Church, where she devoted over 50 years of her life. Her commitment extended to teaching Sunday School for more than 35 years, touching the lives of three generations of kindergartners.

June cherished her role as a grandmother, finding immense joy in her grandchildren. Known as "Grandma June" to all.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Henry, and Edna Baker, as well as her siblings: Harold (Pat) Baker, Gene "Doug" Baker, Billy Ray (Gaynell Baker), Lillian Ruth Baker, and her brother-in-law, Eras Morgan.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Claude Crum, and their children: Mitchell (Sherry) Crum and Sonya (Terry) Ross. June's legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Justin (Heather) Crum and Joshua (Stephanie) Crum, as well as her great-grandchildren: Gracie, Archie, Colson, and Pacey. She is also remembered by her siblings: Emma Morgan, Lorene (Conrad) Garrison, and Melvin (Fern) Baker, in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel. A heartfelt service, officiated by Pastor Dan Brown, will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, followed by burial in the peaceful Mount Zion Park Cemetery.

June Crum's memory will forever be treasured in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and unwavering devotion will serve as an everlasting source of inspiration to us all. She touched the lives of countless individuals and will be fondly remembered as a beacon of warmth and kindness. May she find eternal peace.
