June was born in Beavercreek, Ohio and a graduate of Beavercreek High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Snead and Winona Matthews Snead, sister, Deanna (Snead) Davis, husband, Donald E. Steeley, son, Donald A. Steeley and his wife, Jodelle VanSickle Steeley.
Survived by sisters, Joan (Snead) Wilson (Lucky), Pat (Snead) Hamilton (Sam), Sue (Snead) Benner (Jim); brother-in-law, Dick Davis; daughter, Donna Steeley Parker (Phil), son, Dan Steeley (Cindy); 7 grand-children, 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a writer for the Beavercreek News for many years, a volunteer senior swim aerobic instructor for the Xenia YMCA and was the newsletter editor for 20 years with the Reddy Electric Co.
June was an avid lover of opera music and loved to travel with the Dayton Opera Guild.

Family to receive friends 10:00am Thursday, February 22, 2024 until time of service at 11:00am at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. Burial to follow in the Valley View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
