Karen Jane Webb- Feliciangeli (77), a cherished individual known for her kind, courageous, and infectious capability of bringing joy to those around her left us on September 4, 2024. Born in Friendly, WV on March 17, 1947, Karen lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others.
Karen is survived by her husband of 42 years, Arthur, and children: Cathleen Torres, Jeffrey Mundey and Jennifer Mundey. One of her greatest joys was being “Mimi” to grandchildren: Robert Hinojosa, Corinne Karbler, and Cali Karbler. She was also sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many who certainly all have a story to tell of this remarkable woman. Her departure leaves an unfillable void in our lives, yet we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love we shared.
One of Karen’s most commendable accomplishments was her 25-year tenure in the Mad River School District. She was smart, she was kind and had a heart of gold towards each of her students. Her family appreciates those students who reached out to tell stories about how she inspired them to become teachers themselves and others who noted how her courage greatly impacted different avenues of their lives.
After an early retirement due to complications from MS, Karen became a remarkable tole painter and, with her husband, created amazing works of art sold across the country. She was an extraordinary example of heroism in battling MS over the years and never gave up even in the most difficult of times.
Karen, a beacon of kindness and love, will forever reside in our hearts. Her legacy, exemplified by her love, compassion and courage, will continue to inspire and guide us.
She will forever be our Heartstrings, and Heartstrings never break.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek, OH.
