Karen Furcon

Karen Sue (Kenyon) Furcon, 77, of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 20, 2025. Karen was born August 19, 1947 in Dayton, OH to the late Daniel and Jean (McIntosh) Kenyon. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 55 years, John. Also preceding her in death is her brother, Chris.

Karen leaves to cherish her memory, her son Jeff (Terri) Furcon, daughter Jenni (Scott) Bounds, grandchildren twins John and Mary Bounds, Kristina (John) Hill, great-grandchildren Hannah, J.J. and Molly. Also surviving are her siblings Ken (Connie), David, Tim (Lisa) Kenyon and Kathy (Joe) Wilson.

Karen was an administrative assistant with University of Dayton Research Institute for over 20 years and also volunteered with the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. She loved reading, puzzles, cross-stitch, traveling, and researching her family history.

Karen’s family will receive friends at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, Thursday, April 3 starting at 8:00am with a mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 310 Allen St., Dayton, at 10am. She will be entombed in Woodland Mausoleum, Dayton following services.
