

Brown, Karl R. “Brownie”, 89. Of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Miami Valley Hospital. He is preceded in death by his wife Eileen Brown, his parents Marvin and Priscilla Brown. He is survived by children Deborah Boysel (Gene), Hugh Brown (Belinda), Tonda Davis (Mike), Karl E Brown (Kim), Jerri Stacy (Paul), Pat Lubeach (Ron) and Robert Slusser (Annette); 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was a veteran of the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict where he was a flight mechanic for the C-6 and C-119 Aircraft with the 302TCW. He retired from General Motors in 1988 after 30 years of service. He donated several years of service organizing and participating in car shows benefitting the Toys for Tots. He was a life member of the VFW Post 8312 and the Old Timer’s Club of Winchester Indiana Speedway. Also a member of the Dayton Auto Race Fans. He had a great love for the sport of Auto Racing. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the TOBIASFUNERALHOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made to Honor Flight, 300 E.
