Mrs. Katherine Katy W. White Bayne

Katherine “ Katy “ Bayne (White), age 88 of Centerville, Ohio formerly of Bass Landing in Celina, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, Bayne; mother and father, Katherine and John White; sister, Nellie Baer; and brother, Rudolph White. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Jim) Miller of Centerville; sisters, Agnes Sanders, Leona (Dewey) Pope, Rosemary Brown, and Loretta (Raymond) Powell; granddaughter, Pamela Van Winkle of Centerville; grandson Douglas Smith of Loveland, Ohio; great grandson, Nicholas Van Winkle; step sons, James Bayne and Michael (Sherri) Bayne their sons, Robert, Benjamin, Richard and Steven; also many nieces and nephews. Katherine attended Centerville Community Church. She was past president of the Dayton Chapter Fraternal order of the Eagles. Katherine is presently a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles Ladies Aux. Aerie #1291 in Celina, of which she is a Golden Eagle. She had retired from NCR and worked at Hobart Mfg. Funeral Service 12:oo p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45429. Rev. David Prescher officiating. Interment David’s Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 at the funeral Home.
