Kathleen is survived by her son, Kevin Vollrath. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Long Stewart; father, Kenneth L. Stewart; and husband, Kenneth J. Vollrath.
Kathleen graduated from Beavercreek High School and the Miami Valley School of Nursing. She worked at Miami Valley Hospital for over 30 years, eventually becoming head nurse in the Artificial Kidney Department. She enjoyed quilting, camping by the lake, and was known for her caring nature, strong work ethic, and sense of humor. Kathy was always ready to help others and brought joy to those around her. Kathleen will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Funeral service 11:00AM Monday, January 6, 2025 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel; family to receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
