Kay Rice

Kay Lynne Rice, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the age of 64. She was born on November 10, 1954 to her late parents Marian Elizabeth and John Paul Wheeler. Kay was also preceded in death by her brother Steven Wheeler, and her daughter Marion Renee Rice. She is survived by her husband of over 20 years Homer Rice; her daughters Elise Blanco, Terri White, and Dawn Watson; sister Cheryl Spears; brother Ed Wheeler; grandchildren Ronin and Carter, Randi and Samantha, Devin and Nicole; great-grandchildren Chloe and Madison, Rayleigh and Quinn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kay enjoyed crafting and quilting. She was an active member in her bible group, and was also a member of Lions Club International. Kay loved her family so much, and will be greatly missed.

Family will greet friends before the service on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. in Beavercreek. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:45 am at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St. in Dayton.
