Casey noticed I had a picture of a blonde cocker spaniel, my dog. He told me about his dogs. We shared what we liked about our dogs, and what drove us crazy. When he worked at FHS, I would run into him and not recognize him. We decided it was because he no longer wore his hat. It just didn't look like him. I miss him. He was kind, thoughtful, funny, a hard worker, and a good friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Chaffin's passing. I have fond memories of your wonderful family having taught Christina and Jason at St. Anthony in third grade. They were such sweet, smart, and well behaved students and now are such fine young adults!
I will keep you all in my prayers as you cope with the loss of your husband and father.

One of my most recent memories is when Casey called me to tell me he had purchased a new car for Jeaninne. He wanted it to be a surprise. He asked me to come on a Saturday early afternoon and simply stop by the house as a visit. He would bring the car to the house and asked if I would bless the car. He asked: "Is there a blessing for a car?" I assured him we would create one. During the week he must have called me three times (at least) to confirm I was coming and it would be a surprise. It was a surprise on many levels. Casey was thrilled with the surprise and if he didn't say once he said copious times to me: "Jeaninne does so much for all of us. This is a little gift I can give in return." He was beaming cheek to cheek all afternoon thrilled with the joy he brought Jeaninne. However, this is who Casey was, generous, kind and thinking always of others. I will always remember that afternoon.

Jeaninne and family
You were Casey’s heart and soul! He loved you all beyond words! You were truly blessed with a wonderful loving husband, father and brother.
Casey was my pal, my buddy, my caseman and sweetest kindest friend I could ever have. He was my blessing at work! Always there to help and support me and always with that INCREDIBLE SMILE! He was a joy! It is said “when you lose a friend you love, you gain a angel you know.” He is an angel now!......he has always been mine.
Tim and I will think and speak of you often dear friend.

Few people are glad to see you every day. Casey always asked how are you? Or with his big grin he had something funny thing to say that made you smile back. If a student needed a lunch, shoes, or a coat, he found a way to help. He took care of us at at Barnes and Fairmont. We were all friends to Casey. Every day we were glad to see him.

Casey Casem was a true and dear friend we shared a lot of stories together from being young to present. I know you loved your family with all of your heart. I will miss going to your house for the annual 4th of July cookout where I went the past two years. We had lunch together many days at work. I will remember going to the UD game and you getting the tab and what you said I warned ya. You will be truly missed by me my good buddy Casey Casem.

Although we only knew Casey for a few years we grew to know him and consider him a good friend. We talked a lot of sports but our focus was our UD Flyers. We will miss sitting next to him at games but we will always remember him. As Casey and I would often say to each other..Go Flyers!! I'm sure he will be looking down and still be watching every game.

I worked with Casey and I considered him my friend. As my boss for the last several months he was a soft spoken supervisor and loved by everyone. The giving person he was he shared sports tickets and he always had his peanut butter bars to pass out to us. Casey you will be greatly missed and forever in my memories.
