He fought hard with a hopeful heart. That’s the Kenny we all remember; the sprite, determined, “nothing is out of reach” kind of father, brother, uncle and friend. Kenneth was always athletic. He participated in many sports alongside many family members. Many great memories were had at the Carry Building playing Basketball. Other sports were enjoyed like touch Football, Softball, Tennis, Boating and Golf. But unfortunately, his body started failing him in his 60’s with stroke after stroke. Then recently, cancer. Kenny didn’t go down without a fight! He would not take “no” for an answer and was always out to prove everyone wrong. Stubborn as always. If you knew him well, you would know he could fix anything. Build anything. Solve any problem. He loved his classic rock music and his classic cars. He never turned down an opportunity to golf even when he was in tremendous pain. He adored his kids and grandkids, his many animals especially his dogs. When macular degeneration set in and slowly stole his sight, it was a constant battle to find joy. He went through a lot. The loss has been great. He suffers no more. He fights no more. He is embraced by his loved ones that preceded him in death. The battle is over. He can rest in peace. We will miss your quick wit, your sarcasm….maybe a little of your hot headedness. But what we will miss the most are the tender moments we shared... the laughs, the tears, the hugs, the smiles…He was very loved and will be very missed.
