

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Margaret (nee Reid) Snyder, long-time residents of Kettering Ohio, and by his uncle William Reid of greater New York City, Bloomington IN, and Windsor and Hamden CT.
He is survived by his brother John of Kettering OH, several cousins in the greater Dayton area, in Pickerington Ohio, and Hamden CT. And by his many, many neighbors, friends and associates from his various work, avocational, social and luncheon connections.
Larry was a graduate of Kettering's Fairmont East High School (Class of 1970) and played his clarinet in the Marching Band. He was skilled in many aspects of radio and telephone communication, computer systems communication and network administration. An avid ham radio operator (WA8RRK), he held at various times General Class, Extra Class and First Class Radiotelephone Operator licenses from the FCC. He was a superior electronics technician. He exercised his skills for Tektronics, Inc., for Lexis Nexis, and at different times in his life, for many area musicians needing repair of their amplifiers and electrified instruments. He had a very broad range of friends and acquaintances, and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, 18 July at the Tobias facility on Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road. Visitation is scheduled for 10 AM, with the service following at 11AM.
