Lee is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon; his sons, Doug (Angie) and Jeff (Molly); and his grandchildren, Matt (MacKenzie), Becker, Charlie, Addie and Rudy.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Iva Kash, and his grandson, David.
Lee was the youngest of four brothers: Don (Pat), Edward (Marie) and Lloyd (Jean). He was born in Illinois, raised in Kettering, and graduated from Fairmont High School. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served honorably and was discharged after four years of service.
Following his military service, Lee completed an electrical apprenticeship program. After working in the field for 10 years, he decided to start his own company. He was the proud owner of Saturn Electric, Inc. in Dayton.
In November of 1970, Lee was raised to the degree of Master Mason at the St. John’s Lodge in Dayton. He went on to become a Scottish Rite Mason and eventually a Shriner with Antioch Temple.
Lee was a very simple man who enjoyed traveling, watching his grandchildren play sports, boating, classic cars and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spending winters with Sharon at their home in Osprey, Florida where they would walk for miles together.
Lee chose cremation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tobias Funeral Home in Centerville. A service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Friends and family are welcome to visit Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45429 on Wednesday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people who helped along Lee’s journey. The doctors and nurses at Miami Valley Hospital and Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton provided exceptional care and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45420. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
