SHINDLEBOWER, Lois Maxine "Max," age 77 of Dayton, OH passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wade P. Shindlebower Sr. as well as her parents, Max E. and Estella W. Lee. She is survived by her daughter, April (David) Brown; sons, Wade (Laura) Shindlebower, Edward Shindlebower; grandchildren, Wade III, Cole, Carlee; sister, Joann Barr; life-long friends, Ida Vick and Linda McCall as well as numerous family members and countless friends. She retired in 1992 after working as a secretary in the detective section of the Dayton police department for 20+ years. She was a selfless, giving individual and a life-long animal lover. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 5pm-8pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL. A funeral service will take place at 10am on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the funeral home. Final interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery.
