Lonnie leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 29 years, Suzanne Vaughn, children Lonnie Dee Vaughn III, Abigail Vaughn, Liam D. Vaughn. Also surviving are his sisters Lynn (Doug) Norton, Conni (Chris) Jones, nephews Caleb, Garret, Justin niece Maddi.
He was graduate of Centerville High School class of 1986 and Wilmington College class of 1990 where he played soccer. He loved coaching soccer, and this Saturday, September 21 is being inducted into the Wilmington College Hall of Fame. Lonnie was dedicated, loving husband and father.
Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.
