Loretta M. Hardin, age 85 of Riverside, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at Oak Creek Terrace Nusing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles Hardin, in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Emmarelias Kight and two sisters, Delores Hamilton and Joann Pickett. She is survived by two children: daughter, Karen Hunt and son, J. Fred and wife, Sandi Hardin of Evansville, IN. Three grandchildren also survive her: Yvette Kerr and husband George, Scott A. Hunt and J. Fred Hardin II, as do two great-grandchildren: Peyton Kerr and Chelsea Kerr. Loretta was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother; her family was the center of her world. Friends may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service Saturday. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Loretta's memory.
