

HARSHMAN, Lydia Anne, age 34 of Beavercreek, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 after a brief illness. She is survived by her mother, Michele Harshman and preceded in death by her father, John Harshman. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Jean Harshman, whom she had grown close to since moving to Ohio in 2015. She leaves behind four siblings, Laura (Erik) Filson, Lisa (Rob) Wall, Dustin (Jennifer) Harrison and Kristin (Jason) Ison, nieces and nephews, Sammi and Dani Filson, John Wall, Addy and Hayden Harrison, Julia and Hunter Ison, stepmother, Paula Harshman, boyfriend, Ryan Doll, close friend, John Radin, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Lydia grew up in Niantic, Connecticut graduating from East Lyme High School in 2003. She continued her education by obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in 2008. She had an incredible love for animals, especially her beloved Jack Russell terrier, Austin. She had the biggest heart and was always willing to help others, even strangers. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Beaver United Church of Christ with Pastor Brian Eastman officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal charity of your choice.
