Ms. Madeline Barnard

Madeline Barnard, age 85 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Oak Creek Terrace. She was preceded in death by her son, Rick, in 1999. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kim Barnard of West Carrollton, five grandchildren: Missy Montri, Shane Barnard, Sean Barnard, Hank Barnard and Jennifer Jordan, six great-grandchildren: Blake, Chandler, Mason, Erika, Emily, Austin and another arriving in November. Madeline was born in Waynesburg, KY. She moved to Dayton in 1953 and was employed in the cafeteria at Miami Valley Hospital. She was a devoutly Pentecostal woman who took great strength from her faith and gave it to others in return; she was a true Soldier of God and Prayer Warrior. Funeral services will be held at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave. at Fauver on Tuesday, August 16 at 12 Noon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until the time of the funeral on Tuesday. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Trotwood, following the funeral.
