Mahendra Kumar Mahajan died at his home in Beavercreek, Ohio, early morning on January 27th, 2021. His battle with progressive supranuclear palsy ended peacefully in his bed with his family by his side.
Mahendra began life on August 25th, 1948, in New Delhi, India. His father, Lal Chand Mahajan, and mother, Sumati Devi Mahajan raised a large family: three boys and four girls. Mahendra married his wife (Usha Mahajan) in 1977, and raised two children. His wife, one son, and three grandchildren survive him.
He spent over 30 years as an accomplished child psychiatrist in both private practice and hospitals. He loved to travel ferociously, give generously, and work relentlessly. The world will remember his wit, energy, charity, and warmth.
