

Fugate, Mallie Fay. age 99 of Dayton went to be with the Lord Friday July 27, 2012. She was born July 17, 1913 in Knott Co. KY to the late Willie and Tottie Stamper. She was preceded in death by her husband Silas in 1977, son Chester in 1968, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Forrest Fogle of Dayton, granddaughters Tammy and husband Kevin Temple and Cheryl Fogle, both of Dayton and grandson and wife Steven and Tara Fogle of Cedarville. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Ryan and wife Lindsey, Adam, Dakotah, Declan, Daley and Donavan and two special nieces: Jan Short and Sharon Cole. She graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in education and retired from Temple Christian School. She was a charter member and Sunday school teacher at Cornerstone Baptist Temple; many children have been blessed to have her in their memory as teacher and mentor. The church and school have been blessed to have her friendship, encouragement, ready smile, love for the Lord and faithfulness. She had a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors, found joy in flowers and loved to garden. Funeral Services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, July 31st at the Cornerstone Baptist Temple, 1707 Ohmer Ave. Dayton, OH 45410, Pastor Jerry Siler officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday evening at the church. Interment will be in Valleyview Memorial Gardens. All who knew her will miss her for a season but look forward to rejoicing with her in Heaven.
