Through her work she took classes at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Peg also served her community as a past president of the Beavercreek School Board and volunteered as a CASA.
Peg enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. She loved fast cars - especially the Pontiac Firebird she once owned - and rarely turned down ice cream or a box of Mike & Ikes or Diet Coke. She enjoyed vacations in Lakeside, Ohio, watching Cincinnati Bengals football games, and cheering on the Beavercreek girls' basketball team. Peg was known for her sweet and kind nature paired with a fierce spirit. She also had a soft spot for stray cats and lovingly cared for many throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughters, Elisabeth Almerini and Christine Morgan; her sister, Susan Hermann; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
