Margaret Viola Miller

Miller, Margaret Viola (known as Peg) died July 30, 2016 in her own home of over 50 years located in Kettering Ohio. Peg was 96 years old. She was born May 18, 1920 to Roy and Helen Hancock. She is preceded in death by her parents; her Husband of 59 years, Buddy; her son, David;, her daughter in law, Virginia; her son in law, Paul; and her eight brothers and sisters, Jim, Fred, Pete, Bill, Jack, Rachael, Flo, and Kate. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Rhynard; granddaughters, Amy Perez, Jennifer LaPoint, Alaina Pardee Miller, Bethany Callison and their respective husbands - RD Perez, Rob LaPoint, Chaz Pardee Miller and Mac Callison; plus four great children, David Perez, Charlie, Madalaine, and Isabel LaPoint; plus nieces and nephews. She poured her heart into her life's work of being a wife, a mother and grandma. She always found time for her Mother, her brothers and sisters and her countless friends. Her life was deeply rooted in St Georges Episcopal Church where she attended church services, and spent many hours preparing for the October Rummage sale and baking a cake for the St Vincent DePaul's weekly dinner. She also would bake chocolate chip cookies for anyone who she thought might enjoy them. A memorial is scheduled for August 15, 2016 at St Georges Episcopal Church, 5520 Far Hills Ave. at 1:00pm followed by the interment of her ashes in the Memorial Garden of St Georges. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
