Marilyn (Randy) Beisel

Beisel, Marilyn (Randy) went to be with our Lord Saturday morning, October 8th, 2011 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Randy was born July 11, 1931. She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Richard Beisel, daughter and son in law Betsy and Bill Leonard, son and daughter in law Steven and Kimberly Beisel, 3 grandsons: Billy (Heather) Leonard, Matt (Janelle) Leonard and Jordan Dillon, along with 4 great-grandchildren. She was the eldest of seven children born to Ken & Carrie Lucille McCune (Mast), who preceded her in death. Surviving siblings include Diane Lipps, Larry (Cork) McCune, Shirley (Cookie) Parks, Terry (Butch) McCune, and Nancy Robinson. Her family brought her so much joy, and they were the most important thing to her. Randy was a member of St. Helen Church and coached girls volleyball there for 12 years. She attended Wilbur Wright High School. This was an extraordinary woman, who had a love of life. She left her positive imprint on so many over the years. She will be missed. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12noon, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at St. Helen Church with Father Dave Brinkmoeller officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit at the church Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
