Marilyn C. Thompson

THOMPSON, Marilyn C., age 67 of Beavercreek, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, in 2010 after 43 years of marriage as well as her parents, Mark and Marguerite Sloan. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Alexander and Jennifer Thompson; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Michael Maratta; and sister-in-law, Joann Rigg. Marilyn was an active member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, South Dayton Home Economics Group and Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She was an avid quilter, loved to water ski and was especially happy spending her time at the Indian Lake cottage entertaining friends and family. Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Rev. John Schlicher officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
