

Marilyn Kay Vanderhorst, age 78, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on September 30, 1947, the daughter of the late Andrew L. and Mildred L. (Brunett) Vanderhorst. She is also preceded in death by her son Michael Scott Webb; siblings Gayle Vanderhorst, Janice Bailey and Thomas Vanderhorst, brother-in-law John Sanders, and a great-grandson Jacob Vacchiano.
She is survived by her grandchildren Rob Frieden, Brandy Webb, Krystal (Nick) Vacchiano, Claudia (Stephen) Burnell, Dalton (Alexis) Webb and Adel Matejikova; great-grandchildren Madi, Savannah, Abi, Max and Paislee; daughter-in-law Teresa Brown; siblings Kathleen Sanders, Skip (Carolyn) Vanderhorst, Bob (Denise) Vanderhorst. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved dogs Bonnie and Stella.
Marilyn was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, class of 1965 and retired from WPAFB in 2012 after 34 years of service.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5100 Burkhardt Road, Riverside Ohio. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek-Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
