Brooks, Marjorie E. (Root), 82, of Riverside, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Soin Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Brooks. Survived by her sonsand daughters-in-law Bob and Sharon Brooks of Beavercreek, Larry and Jeana Brooks of Huber Heights, James and Mitzi Brooks of Richland, Mo, Garry Brooks of Laquey, MO; step children Ronald and Betty Brooks of KY, Kay Dawson of KY; 12 grandchildren, Lisa, Teresa, Chris, Bobby, Katie, LeAnna, Sarah, Stoney, Josh, Shannon, Bradley and Brian; 16 great grandchildren, Mandi, Josh, Sami, Tim, Zach, Drew, Kael, Link, Korben, Deserai, Cassie, Stoney Jr, Alanah, Kody, Kasey, Bubba, Deacon, Ramona; 2 great great grandchildren, Reagan and Theo. She was a member of the PSI IOTA XIE Sorority, Eta Pie Chapter. Funeral services will be 1 PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Ronald Brooks officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 PM Wednesday and from 12-1 PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the Ronald McDonald House in her memory.
