Marjorie Gilliland

GILLILAND, Marjorie Jean, age 88 of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents Christopher and Lillian Minzy, and sister Mary “Tony” Drummer. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Clem Gilliland, her three daughters Cheryl (Mike) Nicol, Diane (Mark) Katterheinrich and Linda (Curtis) Sherwood; her six grandchildren Melissa (Michael) Odenweller, Michelle (Matt) Long, Jennifer Katterheinrich, Jessica (Remi) Diesbourg, Julia Sherwood and Clement Sherwood; her five great-grandchildren Sawyer and Sutton Odenweller, Lola and Norah Mohamed, and Madeline Diesbourg; best friend Shirley Roselle; and many nieces and nephews. Marge enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards, eating out, planning parties, and travel. But above all else, she loved her family, and enjoyed nothing better than cooking for them. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with interment to follow in Centerville-Washington Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 29 from 2 pm – 5 pm.
