Marjorie M Metz

Metz, Marjorie M. (Hites) 91, of Beavercreek died Friday February 22, 2013 at Trinity Community. She was born March 12, 1921 to Tom and Marion (Washell) Hites on her grandmother’s farm in Roundhead, Ohio. She was raised in Detroit, Michigan where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Jim. They later moved to Silver Lake, Ohio where they lived for 35 yrs. Marge was an accomplished artist and loving person who brought great joy and humor to her husband of 65 yrs, family and all those whom she touched.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Metz (Larry) Starnes of Raleigh, North Carolina and Christine Metz (Ron) Winters of Dayton; grandchildren, Thom (Candie) Gagne of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, James A. (Debbie) Gagne of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Marianne Gagne Conklin of Middleburg, Florida; great-grandcildren, Paige M. Gagne of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, Matthew A. (Kristina) Brown of Jacksonville, Florida, Elizabeth Gagne of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Johnothon Gagne of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim and great granddaughter, Jessica C. Brown. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the Church of the Incarnation 7415 Far Hills Ave. Family will receive friends from 1-4 pm Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Trinity Community of Beavercreek 3218 Indian Ripple Rd.
