I am just learning the sad news about dear Mark, who was a co-worker, roommate and friend in our youth. Such a fun and sweet guy. My condolences to Terry and the rest of his family. 

I truly don’t know where to start! The memories of our working together...They were 16 yrs of my life that taugh me more than you ever knew❤️ RIP my friend, I will forever love you an our memories🙏❤️

I am in absolute shock this morning as I learned of Mark’s passing.  I am a lifelong Daytonian but my work travel schedule keeps me from being current on all the news in town.  I’m sorry that I’m just learning of this 3 weeks late.

Mark was a definite presence wherever he was.  He cut my hair years ago and always cut my parents hair when they were in from out of town.  

In recent years, I could always count on seeing Mark at Meadowlark or Doubleday’s.  When I would see him, I would always wave and he would smile back and wave.  We would share conversation and then be on our separate ways.  

The world will be a less happy place without Mark in it.  And I will miss seeing his MAL license plate on his BMW on Far Hills.  Rest well, Mark.

Mark designed not only my hairstyle but developed my hair color formula, both of which have received many compliments.  He was a talented hair stylist.
The day he passed over I had an appointment with him. I intended to share some family pictures with him, so I had brought my computer. 
Conversations over the years encompassed a wide variety of topics from cats to politics to astrology and even suggestions for movies to watch.
Over the years he has had my daughter, husband, and sister as clients. When I find someone as talented as Mark, I share the information.
Whenever I asked about Terry, I was rewarded with a huge smile.
I will miss his sense of humor, his smile (contagious) and the wide variety of unique names he called me, oh yes – and how he got my attention when he snuck up behind me!
My deepest condolences go to Terry and Mark family and friends.
May his memory be a blessing for everyone who had the opportunity to meet him.

Mark had been my stylist for many years and his passing hit me like a ton of bricks. I was thinking about all of the things I could say about him, he had a kind heart and a great sense of humor, always witty, funny and a great artist. I considered him a friend and I am blessed to have known him. My condolences to Terry and all of his family.




Charles and I are heartbroken by the sudden passing of our dear Mark. When I moved to Dayton from Paris more that 20 years ago, mark was one of the first person I met. He welcomed me and my family in Dayton and the rest is history...
We were fortunate enough to spend some memorable time together in France and in the US.
I wish we could have more time together.

My heartfelt condolences goes out to the family! I grew up with the Lozan’s and think of Mark as a brother! I will greatly miss his fun, crazy humor and stories that were always a bit  shall i say on the very interesting side😉!! Sending my love, hugs and kisses to all!

I cannot express in words how saddened I have been to hear of the death of Mark Lozan. Mark was a long time friend, really more like a brother. We have shared many happy times, including a trip to France, where Mark was the “belle of the ball”. The champagne was flowing and so many danced with Mark into the early morning hours. Then Mark & I staggered thru the grape vineyard under a full moon to our bed & breakfast. I also recall a trip we took to Charleston, staying at the Wentworth mansion, and of course enjoying a few of the wonderful Charleston restaurants & a fair amount of wine. When Terry became part of Marks life, all three of us could frequently be found at the bar at L’auberge. They also found time to visit me on Hilton Head Island. We ate, drank wine & martinis, , & laughed till we cried.
Mark was a wonderful man, loved by many. He lived life to the fullest. I loved him & will never forget him. Terry, I offer you my deepest sympathy. You & Mark made a great couple. My condolences also to his mother, sister, and niece & nephew., and to those who worked with him. What a loss his death is to so many. My heart is broken.

Our deepest sympathy to all of you on your loss. Mark will be missed by many, he was a character for sure!. We were both Leos and we were so proud of that! He and I met at Truffles many moons ago...….18 years + and became friends. He then became my stylist some 16 years ago. He loved what he did!! When I became a grandmother in 2003, he started calling me Yiayia (grandmother in Greek) instead of Harriet.
Every month when I would see him for my appointment, I would ask him, "How is Terry, " and he would say, "Loving Me!" So, I would quit asking and I would say I know how Terry is, "loving you!" Mark left his "mark", that is for certain. May his memory be eternal!

Mark has been my stylist off and on (more so on) since I moved to Ohio in 1999. In recent years, he’s become more of a friend than just a guy that does my hair. I’m so saddened by his passing and my heart goes out to Terry and those precious fur babies. 

Mark has been my hair designer/ artist/ stylist for the past few years.  Loved hearing his insight on movies (new & old), music, theater, TV documentaries and food (we found The Meadowlark and Wheat Penny because of him).  Loved his big laugh.  I will miss him and his awesome style.

My hairdresser for over 15 years. I called him my life coach. Counseled me  giving good advice and big hugs. I miss you Mark. 

Mark started as my hairstylist 15 or more years ago, but we quickly became friends.  I always felt like he was part of my tribe, someone who understood me in ways others didn't.  Every year when I gave him the Christmas cookies, he was so giddy.  He told me he looked forward to those all year and spent a lot of time trying to convince me to open a bakery.  He was an amazing person: intelligent, funny, and kind.  I will miss him greatly.  My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.  

Mark has been my friend and stylist for 30+ years and I am shocked by this sudden death.  I will miss him so much.  Many of who were clients of Mark called him the "hairdresser of the stars" which always made him laugh.  

You were the best, and will be missed by so many people.

A terrible loss of such a kind human being.  Memories are a wonderful thing.

Mark and I go back a long time. We both were a lot thinner, and I had hair. Fond memories of late night parties, picnics at Dewesse Park and running the Bars.  Rest well my friend. 

I met Mark two and a half years ago when he started doing my hair.
He became one of my best friends.  His wicked sense of humor and caring heart will be missed every single day.
God speed my wonderful friend you truly helped me through some tough times.

I have quite the history with Mark of which I have many fond memories.  Dance with the angels,  my dear friend.  My deepest sympathy to Marguerite, Michelle,  and Terry. 

I have many fond memories of picnics at Deweese Park where Mark gave me the nickname, "Pammy Picnic" because I usually brought "ranch dip" with veggies.  We all played Volleyball, or at least tried, depite being a little buzzed!  Mark was always up for a good time and we sure had alot of them together.  Finally, Mark became my hairdresser and confidant!  You will be missed but my memories of you will live on.  Rest in Peace.

Mark has been my friend since high school, many years and many memories go along with those years.  I will truly miss my friend.
