Kelley, Marsha S. age 70, went home to be with her Lord on June 15, 2018, surrounded with the love of her family. She was born on October 16, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, to Elmo & Eula Smith. She is preceded in death by her father, and her sister Sharon Jones; survived by her mother, and siblings Bruce Smith and Cindy Reeves. She graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1965. While working part-time at Donenfeld's Department Store in Downtown Dayton, she attended secretarial school at Miami Jacobs College. Upon graduation, she took a secretarial position at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Blessed with a magnetic personality and savvy business skills, she worked her way up from secretary to Budget Analyst, retiring after 37 years of service. After retirement, Marsha enjoyed going on cruises and traveling to nearly every state with her beloved husband of 48 years, Fredrick K. Kelley, Jr.. Marsha was an avid gardener, and loved tending not only her large vegetable garden, but also her wide variety of flowers and plants in both her yard and on her sunporch. She also always found time to make each of her six grandchildren feel cherished and special. An accomplished seamstress, she poured her love into unique sewing projects for each grandchild every Christmas. In addition to her husband Fred, she leaves behind two sons: Robert (Dawn) Kelley, Patrick, Allison, and Lauren; Brian (Wendy) Kelley, Tabi, Noah, and Tati; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marsha taught Sunday School for many years at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, a church built by her father and grandfather. In recent years, she became an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Beavercreek, where she served on several outreach committees. She will miss her church family at Victory that she loved so dearly. Visitation for friends and family at Tobias Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Funeral service at Tobias Funeral Home on June 20 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Mount Zion Shoup Cemetery.
