Martha Jane Pepin

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Lucille Rismiller.

Martha is survived by her husband, Paul Pepin; daughters, Kathy L. (Harris) Bartosik and her husband Michael, and Diana J. (Harris) Thacker and her husband Thomas; grandchildren, Michael Thacker and his wife Jessica Yi, Jessica (Thacker) McCrary and her husband Isaiah, and Nicholas Bartosik; great grandchildren, Makayla McCrary, Maverick McCrary, Oliver Thacker, and Thomas Thacker; a sister, Marilyn (Rismiller) Ekberg and her husband Howard "Bud" Ekberg; niece, Christine (Ekberg) Schreiber and her husband Jack; nephew, Scott Ekberg and wife Stephanie; great-nieces and great-nephews, Daniel Ekberg and wife Kristen, Joseph Ekberg and wife Lily, Megan Connair and her husband Phil, and Ben Schreiber.

While we have lost our beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother, and aunt she will always be remembered for her love of her award-winning Javanese and Oriental Shorthair show cats, her orchids, and her love of knitting.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave, Dayton, OH 45429, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Her family wishes to thank Bethany Lutheran Village and Ohio Living Bethany Hospice for the loving care they provided Martha.
