Walker, Marvel Justin, 85, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Walnut Creek Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert Perry Walker, parents Anna and Herman Roeder, step mother Frances Geraldine Roeder and sister Kay Wean. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Walker of Kettering; grandchildren LeeAnna, Rebecca and Johnathon (Kristine); great grandson Skylar ; brother Jim (Mary) Roeder of Englewood; brother-in-law Ron Wean of Beavercreek; lifelong friend Chris Miller; nieces and nephews. Marvel retired from the Kettering Public School System and was a longtime member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 22, 2014 at the David’s Cemetery Community Chapel, 4600 Mad River Rd. Interment David’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Monday at the David’s Cemetery Community Chapel. Arrangements in care of the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME- FAR HILLS CHAPEL.
