My thoughts and prayers are with Mary’s family and friends during this very difficult time. The remembrances of her life through the eyes of friends has been a great tribute to a life well lived. Mary touched many lives in her short time on earth.

When Mary was my supervisor years ago we developed a great friendship. She was instrumental in my employment at CSU. After I left CSU, I missed her presence in my life. It was my intention to re-establish our friendship, but that cannot occur now. I will be glad to see her in Heaven and look forward to seeing her there. Until then, rest well my friend.

I have loving, wonderful memories of Mary Lou! From playing school in the basement of the farm to ice skating on the pond! I bought my first car from her, the monster blue Camaro and and she gave me a long pink gown with ruffles to wear to homecoming my freshman year at Carroll! Always giving and always smiling, that is how I will remember her in my heart!

Mary had a gentle, sweet spirit about her. Her heart so full of love and kindness, which she shared with so many over her lifetime: her parents and twelve older brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and the many many friends she had. I have beautiful, happy memories of my cousin to cherish, family gatherings, our times getting lost at her family’s farm, and the years together on the Carroll High School drill team. My peace for her sudden passing is knowing that she is in Heaven surrounded by her parents and so many other family members. God has you Mary, May you rest peacefully in his arms. I love you forever 💕
