Mary Katherine Brelsford, 93, of Bluffton, SC and widow of William Brelsford, passed away on June 17, 2016 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC. Mrs. Brelsford was born on January 24, 1923 in Dayton, OH to the late Louis L. Hamman and Gertrude Woodward Hamman. Mrs. Brelsford moved to Bluffton from Dayton, OH in 2014. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Kettering, OH; an avid bowler; enjoyed golf; professional figure skater and avid dog lover. Mrs. Brelsford is survived by her son, Douglas Lee Brelsford (Linda) of Chicago, IL; her stepson, William Brelsford (JoAnne) of Paducah, KY; her daughter, Deborah L. Kiser (James) of Bluffton, SC and her grandchildren, Gregg Brelsford, Mark Brelsford, Joel Brelsford, Heather Kiser, Gregory Brelsford and Kristin Brelsford. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Hamman, who died in World War II. Visitation will be Thursday June 23, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
